Types of Leaf Protection We Offer:
- Leaf Exterminator: This is made of aluminum and comes in six foot sections. We take the back of the piece and it goes under the drip edge and the front of it sits on the front of the gutter. It gets 4 to 5 screws in the front and back. With this being done it solids up the whole gutter and actually makes it stronger, allowing it to handle a bigger snow and ice load for the winter months. It has a unique grooved design to it so if there are leaves and other debris on it, the wind can get underneath and blow everything off. We use this mainly to keep out your pine needles and birch tree debris. Leaf exterminator keeps almost everything out.
- Micromesh Screen: Micromesh Screen is a powder coated aluminum that is light weight and yet durable enough to hold back your unwanted leaves and debris. It comes in 4 foot lengths and gets tucked under your drip edge and then snaps in the front of your gutter. We mainly us this type of screen for maple trees to keep out the "helicopters" as people call them, and your regular leaves.
- E-Z Step Screen: E-Z Step Screen is our more economical leaf protection. It is a powder coated steel that has bigger holes. It comes in four foot lengths and gets tucked under your drip edge and then snaps in the front of your gutter. This is used in scenarios where people have oaks around their yard and other trees with bigger leaves.
